## Kayla or K. J.? Which is it? Well, it's both. With friends, family, and clients, I go by Kayla. **K. J. Curry** is the name I use for my new dark fantasy books, but I'm fine if readers call me Kayla, too. There _are_ books under the name **Kayla Curry** on Amazon, but those are all quite old and not representative of my current writing abilities. So, rather than mix those old works with the new ones, or delete the old ones and start over, I decided to create the pen name K. J. Curry to separate them. ## Are you from Nebraska or North Dakota? Okay, let's clear this up. I'm from **NEBRASKA.** There are rumors that I'm from North Dakota, (and I love the people that started this disinformation campaign... _ahem, Mel and Ramji_...) but I've never even been to the state. I have been to South Dakota, though. Gorgeous place. ## What do you write?
